Dean’s Pharmacy, formerly Hampton Drug Co., was established in 1992. Dean Watts purchased the pharmacy on DeWitt Court Square from Dr. Larry Barnes and continued operating in that location for several years. By 1999 Dean’s Pharmacy had out grown its humble beginnings. Dean wanted to better serve the community in a location where he could provide more parking and offer a drive thru window. In January 2000, Dean’s Pharmacy on Whitehead Drive was opened where it has been serving the community ever since.

In 2002 Dean’s Pharmacy branched out to serve the community of Stuttgart, AR. Deans Pharmacies opened Dean’s Pharmacy #2 inside Alps Grocery Market. When Alps closed its doors in 2009, Dean’s Pharmacy moved operations inside Food Giant Cash Saver Grocery Store where it continues to conveniently serve the people of Stuttgart.

Also in 2009, Dean's Pharmacies Inc. opened Dean's Pharmacy #3 in Marianna, Arkansas. Being the only independently owned pharmacy in Lee County, Dean's Pharmacies Inc. decided to expand and move locations in 2013. This expansion included the addition of Dean's Pharmacies Inc. second gift location, giving the community more shopping options.

In 2021, Dean's Pharmacies Inc. purchased MC Drug Store in Helena, Arkansas from Dr. Vance Montgomery. With this most recent addition, Dean's Pharmacies Inc. has a total of four independently owned pharmacies and two gift shops to better serve Southeast Arkansas.

In 2024, Dean's daughter, Sydney Carter, Took ownership of the DeWitt gift shop. It has been rebranded with the name Top Knot Gifts and still remains inside Dean's Pharmacy DeWitt. Also this year, Dean's Pharmacy Stuttgart closed its doors and sold to Coker Hampton Drug Co. in Stuttgart.

Dean's Pharmacies continues to serve the communities of DeWitt, Stuttgart and Helena Arkansas. We currently offer Vaccinations, Dispill, a Mobil App to refill prescriptions and chat with pharmacists, and so much more.
